SBC Life Logo
The pride of the SBC.
The SBC Life logo incorporates the same SBC type from the SBC brand logo and “Life” is set in an elegant serif that expresses a sense of maturity and authority. The burst mark is created from the pieces of the cross body from the SBC logo, representing life, energy, and passion.
There are a variety of logo variations that are available to use as well as instructions on the best way to use them. Each logo file download includes files for print and digital use in various file formats.
Primary Logo
When representing SBC Life, look to use this main, horizontal format of the logo. Rely on using the Color version unless on top of a background when using White would be more legible. Use Black versions only when color cannot be used. The logo with the incorporation of “Journal” should be used in the printed publication or in reference to it.

Stacked Logo
For instances when the primary, horizontal logo does not work best in the execution, the stacked logo can be used.

Logotype
For specific use cases, the logotype can be used by itself, such as on the cover of the printed journal.

Sizing
The simplicity of the logo makes it extremely scalable. In order to protect its visibility, please be sure to not make it smaller than the minimum sizes shown below. The minimum size is based off of the logo mark not being smaller than 35 pixels in diameter.
2 inch
144 pixels
2.1 inch
151 pixels
0.5 inch
34 pixels
1.5 inch
113 pixels
Because of the concern of the legibility of the word “Journal” at small sizes, the minimum size of those logo variations should only be used in scenarios when absolutely necessary.
Clear Space
Clear space is the minimum amount of extra blank space you need to leave around the logo to ensure its visibility and readability in relation to other elements around it. The clear space should be equal to height of “S” pulled directly from the logotype at the size you’d like to display it.
Incorrect Usage
Proper use of the logo will build recognition and memorability for the brand. Please avoid these incorrect uses of the logo to maintain integrity and consistency.
Do not add effects like drop shadows or gradients to the logo.
Do not recolor any elements of the logo.
Do not skew, warp, stretch or change the proportions of the logo in any way.
Do not place the logo on a background that would reduce its legibility.
Do not resize the individual components of the logo, changing its proportions.
Do not have elements too close to the logo, jeopardizing the specified logo clear space.
Do not reorient the words of the logotype to create a new format.
Do not recreate the logotype with a different font.
Do Not Use
There are incorrect or outdated versions of the SBC Life logo shown below that you may have or may be available from other sources. These logos are not official and continuing to use of them creates an inconsistent experience for the brand, please refrain from using them. Please only use the the logo files from this site, as they are official and current.
